A Walk Through Deep Time is a collaboration with visual artist Trudy Lane. We are exploring the 4.57 million years of earth’s history from philosophical, scientific and cultural perspectives via a to-scale physical walk representing this timeline and an accompanying location-based audio experience.

This project was first exhibited at the Puke Ariki Museum in New Plymouth, New Zealand with future destinations – including ISEA 2013 – continuing to accrete more and more audio recordings to populate the walk.
